This happened with no cheating, vanilla game, no mods. I just finished a heavy cargo ride and skipped the parking (through the menu, the bottom choice, that gives zero XP). Then I took another external contracts job and after returning to game my truck began shaking and finally came to this position. So I suspect, that this is a bug of an autoparking after completing heavy cargo job.
This was a 'Transformer' cargo from 'Oakland Shippers' (Oakland) to 'Voltison' (Santa Cruz).
