To answer your question:
That's TSM 5.3.1, a map covering Europe down to Greece, plus North Africa from Casablanca in Morokko to Cairo in Egypt. The location is Batna in Algeria. Drive just a ffew miles further and you are surrounded by nothing but sanddunes...
