There is no digital download other than Steam, and all keys from retail boxes and resellers like GreenManGaming have to be activated on Steam; as they've addressed many times on the SCS blog, it's much simpler for them to do everything through Steam since they don't have to create and maintain their own separate infrastructure for downloads and updates, and the bandwidth costs and man-hours that would've entailed can instead go toward making more game content. It's a win/win, really.

Btw, is it only available on steam atm? I dun really like steam and im planning on getting the digital download instead. I went to the ATS website but it doesn't show that i can buy the game without using steam. By any chance, do you know if it's gonna be available for download on the website maybe like a day after?
