S0258. Turning the key, the engine caught and ran smoothly. It was going to take some getting used to what a 25.86 litre Turbo V-12 sounded like. The sound-proofing that I was used to in the Scania didn't exist on a Soviet military truck design.

But there were enhancements over the basic model; a stereo installed on the front ceiling, with speakers in the corners, a clock, Bluetooth, and on the dash a computer. Above the front window was a GPS. With my personal items, the Kraz was complete!
