J330: The new trailer was the right choice. Able to make it longer, shorter, wider, narrower, Hal was pleased that he had the flexibility to adjust to contract demands, and reduce the number of wheels on the ground to save fuel, when the load didn't demand it. Crossing the last bridge, Hal watched carefully that the girders over the road did not descent so low as to hit the roof of the asphalt machine.
