PALADIN

Hail the Paladin from the North,
a master warrior form village Gorth,
black lacquered armor with vanbraces and tassets,
greave covered legs, coarse gloves with facets.

With long sword and broadsword in a brace,
along with knives and a spiny mace,
into the marsh, where the dragon fell,
with a band of men who think him swell.

Upon chestnut steed, above helm and aventail,
led the Paladin draped in divine mail,
into the dragon's breath of a wizard's curse,
not to contain but the spell to reverse.

Light and heavy armor into the fray,
our souls were healed with glyph this day,
if dragon or demon I can not say,
but proceed we did the beast to slay.

Back to the castle of Empress Circes,
smiting the guards with nobleman's curses,
such as beslubbering swine of rancid meat,
whilst throwing the head at the Empress' feet.
